I've been a big fan of Cal Newport for several years, starting with Deep Work. If you haven't already read it, I would definitely recommend his book Digital Minimalism as well as his weekly podcast Deep Questions.
Thank you Kate. I just recently discovered he also has a newsletter which I subscribed to. I will check out Digital Minimalism and his podcast. I hope you and your family are doing well!
That's great! We are just adjusting to the first stages of "empty nest," having dropped our youngest at uni 2 weekends ago...hope you are settling into your transition to civilian life 😃
I’ve been listening to Epic the Musical for a long time. My second to youngest daughter’s friend introduced it and since then it has been a delight to see my middle schooler and elementary schooler draw pictures of the characters and pronounce the Greek names better than I can! The songs are pretty catchy. It also makes interesting use of the fact that Odysseus was killed Hector’s infant son which is something that I always glossed over, but now my children are aware of.

Love this quote: “No need to hurry. No need to sparkle. No need to be anybody but oneself.” - Virginia Woolf
Reminds me of our unique Blueprint.

Did you also read Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller, Matthew?
I haven't yet but it is on my list.
I just got excited because I’m rereading it now. I liked it more than Circe.

Cal is king for me. I can hardly put into words how he has changed my perspective on productivity and goals. Just brilliant. Such a great piece.
