When my Grandad lived in London, he would invariably encounter students graduating from one of the many schools in the capital. He’d often go up to them and say, “I don’t know you and you don’t know me. But I’d like to say congratulations on all of your hard work. Enjoy a well-deserved celebration.” I extend the same warm wishes to your kids, Matthew.
Huge congratulations to both of your brilliant children Matthew, don't forget to save a little of your pride for yourselves as well as them. I cannot deny I am missing your posts but understand entirely life first. Enjoy my friend.
Congratulations on your kids' achievements! I had to Google "summa cum laude" as we don't have anything as fancy as that in the UK, haha. Or, if we do, I didn't qualify! Our daughter is graduating from the Guildhall Conservatoire next month, and we've booked a family trip to London to be at her graduation recital. The last time we heard her play I think was August 2023. Can't wait!
